Karen comes to your home, spends time getting to know your little ones, then photographs them at play in the comfort of familiar surroundings.

There’s no packing up the stroller and carting the kids around town, because Karen comes to you! (That’s why Manhattanites know her as the “House Call Photographer.”)

Sittings are scheduled for mid-morning or noon-time in order to achieve optimum lighting. (Karen is happy to schedule around naptimes, of course.) The session usually lasts up to two hours for one or two children, and up to three hours for three or more children. Karen knows that smiles can never be rushed, so please allow plenty of time on your session date to complete the sitting.

Karen always offers her clients sittings of unlimited time and unlimited photographs!

Snacking and diaper changing are always a welcome part of the session, and never bother this patient, baby-loving photographer. Karen’s goal is to deliver phenomenal photographs, excellent service, and, of course, to make the session about big fun and laughter!

Clothing is optional (especially for babies), but remember that simple solids work really well, and it’s best to avoid patterns, stripes and logos.

As part of your session fee, Karen mails you a CD of all your high-resolution images, displayed in both black & white and color. (Originally known for her black & white film portraiture, Karen’s digital portraits offer her clients the choice of color and black & white for every shot she takes!)

Karen meticulously retouches any boo-boos, birthmarks, and runny noses, then she crops your images for optimum composition, and renames your image files for easier reference.

It’s all done for you, and it’s all included in the session fee!
